250 kW diesel generator

250 kW equals 312 kVA according to the model data sheets. Maximum power is 280 kW; the generator can run at it only for short periods, so size by the rated 250 kW with a margin.

Rated current up to 451 A. Copper cable: 2 runs of 3×120 + 1×70 mm² from the generator to the panel, laid in air or on trays. For long runs or several cables in one trench, our manager will recalculate the cross-section.

At 50% load: 21.6–28.5 L/h, at 75%: 32.5–43.2 L/h, at full load: 43.3–57 L/h. Consumption for each model is listed on its product page.

Enclosed generators have a built-in tank that lasts 8–10 hours of operation. For open-frame generators, the tank is available at extra cost.

An enclosed generator is installed outdoors: the all-weather canopy protects against precipitation and reduces noise, and the ATS is already included. An open-frame generator sits on a skid and is installed indoors or in a container; the ATS for it is available at extra cost.

Yuchai: 2 years or 1,500 engine hours; Weifang: 1 year or 1,000 engine hours, whichever comes first.
